Chinese Ancient Football - Cuju


The Cuju is an ancient Chinese sport. This ancient sport is the prototype of contemporary football. It is considered to be the origin of modern football.The game of Cuju similar to modern football, but there are several ways to play and rules. There are three categories of games: play direct, indirect and game play individually. Cuju history back more than 2,300 years. It all started in Linzi, the capital of the State of Qi during periods of the Qiu and Chun. The Cuju has experienced a significant increase during the dynasty Han. On 15 July 2004, at the press conference of the third International Exhibition soccer Chinese, FIFA has officially declared that China is the land of origin of football.
